Breeding Philosophy

We are striving to breed high quality Tennessee Walking Horses that gait naturally, love people, and are highly trainable. Our goal is to produce amateur friendly trail horses that become very special life partners for people.  Weanlings are available to perfect homes, but we love to raise our babies up to riding age. If your dream is to grow your own partner we can help!

Our Tennessee Walking Horse Mares

Mares are carefully selected based on a combination of factors including gait, disposition, pedigree and build. All our mares are registered Tennessee Walking Horses. They are maintained with excellent care and quality feed.
Great mares make great babies!

Raising our foals
We believe strongly in handling foals. All of our foals are imprinted and handled regularly. They lead in and out of the barn with mom for grooming. They get fly sprayed in the summer and blanketed in the winter. We expose the foals to as much as possible, grooming, clippers, bathing, ponying, hoof picking. They receive regular farrier care, deworming every two months, and vaccinations. Dams are all vaccinated with core vaccines prior to foaling. They share grain with their moms until they're old enough for their own feed bag. Ample nightly turnout over varied terrain helps build strong bodies and surefootedness and coming into pens during the day ensures everyone is looked over and handled daily. We wean over the course of 4-7 days to ensure as low risk to mare and foal as possible. The weanlings stick together as we wean one mare and foal pair at a time until they're left with their older babysitting horse.

2027 Foal Crop

All our mares have foaled for 2026. We are expecting four Tennessee Walking Horse foals spring & summer 2027. Several are proven repeat breedings from past years. Email us for in-utero options for 2027.
